Driving Environmental & Social Change Through Creative Action

Conservation Arts is a registered nonprofit organization based in Lilongwe, Malawi. We firmly believe in the transformative power of creative arts to drive social and environmental change. We utilize creative platforms to create a unique and engaging environment for youth to develop their skills for climate action. Guided by values of creativity, inclusivity, impact, transparency, and collaboration, Conservation Arts serves communities with energetic creative spirits and a strong desire to make a positive impact. Through our unique approach, we strive to inspire a generation of environmentally conscious citizens who actively contribute to a sustainable future.

Capacity Building & Training

Enabling youth in rural and urban communities to develop skills in incorporating cultural and artistic platforms into environmental management, climate justice, plastic waste management, and biodiversity conservation.

Impact Creation

Hands-on activities that directly benefit the environment: tree planting, clean-up campaigns, waste separation, home gardens, climate-smart agriculture, and partnering with grassroots organizations.

Exploration & Value Addition

Promoting eco-friendly products and services such as fuel-efficient cookstoves, sustainably produced honey, and recycled materials, alongside themed musical concerts and art exhibitions.

Social Influence

Social and behavior change communication (SBCC) leveraging artistic and socio-cultural platforms to inspire long-term sustainable environmental management across communities.

Consulting Services

Providing expert consultancy services to government and non-government entities in Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL), SBCC programming, and environmental governance.
